A New Season for Taverners Australia

As another Australian cricket season approaches, there is a great deal to be excited about at Taverners Australia.

For more than four decades, our organisation has been united by a simple belief: everyone deserves a sporting chance.

Today, that purpose is as important as ever.

Across Australia, our branches, members, volunteers, partners and supporters continue to create opportunities for people who may otherwise face barriers to participating in sport.

From inclusive cricket and equipment funding to grassroots programs and national competition, every contribution helps someone get involved, develop their skills and experience the connection that sport can provide.

This spring also marks an exciting new chapter for Taverners Australia. We are tremendously honoured that Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, has accepted our invitation to become Patron of Taverners Australia.

We are continuing to grow our First XI, bringing together a group of people committed to creating a lasting legacy for inclusive sport.

And across the country, our branches continue to turn fundraising into tangible opportunities for individuals, teams and communities.
